We are looking for a top notch Sr. Technical Designer with a passion for scripting, firefighting, improving workflow pipelines, and solving tough technical design challenges. We’re looking for creative candidates that are two parts Designer and one part Programmer with a critical eye to fun, quality, optimized scripting solutions for a competitive multiplayer experience.

Responsibilities

Script Game Modes and interactive gameplay elements
Implement gameplay elements in the actual game environment
Firefight technical issues and help fellow designers / programmers track down difficult issues
Be an advocate of the tool base and suggest / implement improvements to internal pipelines where it makes sense
Be able to optimize and critique other game scripts and assist fellow technical designers in implementing game mode / gameplay features

Qualifications

4+ years in a design role with a strong technical design background
Extensive experience with visual and written scripting languages
Competitive multiplayer experience
Creativity and strong problem solving skills
Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with your teammates
Knowledge and understanding of game design fundamentals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced and confidential environment
Passion for making great games
Strong desire to continue to learn and grow as a designer

Experience with various level building tools
