We are looking for a top notch Senior Systems Designer with a passion for creating and collaborating on core game systems. The candidate will report directly to the Lead Designer and will work with the design, art, and tech departments to develop and iterate on compelling and accessible game systems for competitive multiplayer.

Responsibilities

Design gameplay systems, progression, and elements
Create easy to follow design documentation
Ability to get hands on and implement gameplay elements in the actual game environment
Deal with system issues as the come up and be able to find good solutions with minimal impact to other parts of the game
Collaborate with members of the design, dev team, and test departments and play testing to make changes to game balance
Provide feedback and guidance to other members of design

Qualifications

4+ years in a design role with a strong systems design background
Demonstrated experience developing competitive multiplayer systems
Creativity and strong problem solving skills
Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with your teammates to find the best ideas
Knowledge and understanding of game design fundamentals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced and confidential environment
Passion for making great games
Strong desire to continue to learn and grow as a designer

Pluses

Scripting experience
Experience with various level building tools
AAA game experience
Shooter and/or action game experience
