- Lead the Product Development Information Technology support staff at the San Diego, CA campus, responsible for desktop support, systems administration, and network access to sustain SCEA Product Development studios.
- Manage the daily activities of an IT Ops team, focusing on systems administration and customer support, keeping track of support requests and providing reports to senior management.
- Coordinate the processes that define workstation, laptop, and client-side software deployment and support.
- Research new products/solutions to enhance end user service levels.
- Measures and tracks performance to achieve target deliverables. Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency and staff productivity.
- Gather metrics and provide reports to senior management.
- Build relationships with various business units to provide proactive and efficient support.
- Collaborate with peers at other SCEA sites to refine support processes and procedures.
- Energetically interact with Studios and support staff to ensure adequate capacity planning, equipment acquisition, asset tracking, and coordination of systems administration activities.
- Provide requirements to other PD IT groups, participating as a team member to support overall IT infrastructure.
- Interact with senior management and external groups for planning and budgeting purposes.
- Direct ongoing staff development and internal staff sharing.
- Travel to remote sites as needed (<5% of the time)

Experience Requiredtop
- Demonstrated success as an IT leader in an Operation or support function, with skills in motivation, staff development, and cross-functional coordination. Strong English language verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to define processes for customer support, network operations, and desk side administration, including processes for equipment acquisition.
- Must have computer science knowledge adequate to understand and communicate support information to both staff and customers; advance Windows knowledge, intermediate Linux administration ability; experience with enterprise-class email and collaboration systems; strong understanding of internet and web services structures; intermediate level network, storage management, and system security knowledge; basic network planning and troubleshooting skills; intermediate understanding of LAN/WAN and server-based operations; and intermediate MS Office skills.
- Must be able to create and maintain multiple project plans, $1-2M OpEx budget, and manage projects and equipment acquisition in concert with corporate support staff to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Should have sufficient background in systems administration to communicate planning and operations issues to internal staff and represent department to external parties.
