Blizzard Entertainment seeks an enthusiastic business systems analyst for our corporate applications group. The ideal candidate will have a business analyst background, and familiarity with software development projects. The business systems analyst will be responsible for liaising with leads of all departments, including executive management, and prioritizing development requests. The candidate will need to be able to translate business requests into technical requirements and present results, both orally, and in written form at a level appropriate to the target audience. This person will utilize critical thinking skills to solve problems creatively, and overcome obstacles in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
Participate in meetings with clients to gather, document, and understand requirements.
Creative thinking to help drive efficient and simple solutions to complex problems.
Assist in formulating recommendations to improve business workflows.
Analyze, and document business requirements and processes; communicate these requirements to technical personnel.
Calculate return on investment (ROI) to justify and prioritize work efforts.
Contribute to a positive work environment.
Handle other duties, as assigned.

Requirements
A minimum of 2 years’ business process re-engineering experience
Experience communicating effectively, with both technical and non-technical personnel
An understanding of computer programming concepts
Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent spoken and written communication, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
Able to work in a team environment with multiple team members, and the ability to multitask
