Insomniac Games is looking for a Senior Network Programmer who is an expert in all aspects of online game development. You will build and improve our online technology to support our ambitious upcoming titles, using your experience and skills to take our games to the next level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Develop and maintain online systems for stat tracking, synchronization, and connection management
• Design, implement, and maintain server and client network libraries
• Plan and implement integration of platform network libraries
• Work with other programmers and content creators to enable online gameplay features
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or experience:
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong C++ programming skills
• Knowledge of networking technology as applied to online games
• Experience developing for PSN, XBox LIVE, or Steam
• Experience implementing network synchronization for games
• Experience dealing with bandwidth and latency issues
• Experience developing and deploying post-release content
• Excellent communication skills
• 5+ years experience as a network programmer

Desired/Other Skills:
• Knowledge of network security strategies
• Experience implementing online gameplay features
• Experience working in client, server, web, and database programming environments
• Experience with deployment on Amazon Web Services or similar environments
