CCP North America is looking for a talented individual to be a part of the creative team working on the groundbreaking MMO title, World of Darkness. This particular opening requires that the candidate be motivated, possess excellent communication skills, and has the ability to work well with a cross-disciplinary group.

The Technical Artist (Rigging) will work closely with Character Artists, Animators and the Animation Programmer and will be responsible for understanding and maintaining, developing Character and Animation production pipelines, help refine work flow throughout the life of the project using both in-house technology and existing middleware. The primary task of this employee will be addressing areas of the game that needs both a technical touch and an artistic eye.

Responsibilities:
Using Python and MEL to develop, streamline and support pipeline tools
Work closely with Artists and Animators to support changes to Animation and Character pipelines
Skinning and Rigging for characters, face and props

Experience Requiredtop

Skills and Experience:
5+ years professional game development experience
Must have shipped at least 1 AAA title
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the video game development process.
Experience with Python scripting
Strong Motionbuilder knowledge
Strong Maya knowledge
A master at skinning and rigging characters and props
Able to create complex facial rigs
Solid understanding of game creation processes & dependencies
Strong problem solving abilities
Must have experience with modeling for deformation
Must have experience working with both key-frame and motion capture data pipelines
Ability to show initiative and self-prioritize tasks.
Bonus:
Experience with Morpheme
