Activision is seeking an Associate Producer to join our Call of Duty production team.  Associate Producers are generally responsible for the day-to-day management of entire sections of the game's production with a key focus in project coordination and execution. These sections can be the management of particular work pipelines, including supporting development requests, legal clearances, external vendor management, user testing, QA, ratings board submissions, PR and PR asset support or localization.


 


Responsibilities:


Coordinates in-house and/or external resources to meet production schedules


Identifies weaknesses, bottlenecks, and risks in the schedule and troubleshoots communication and schedule dependency problems with the Producer and Leads.


Maintains project documentation


Manages development team's material requests


Tracks build deliveries


Organizes and prepares materials for focus tests


Resolves hardware/software issues


Manages SKU submission (TRC, TCR, etc) and QA feedback (Activision QA)


Manages localization issues such as translation and territorial content guidelines


Records meeting minutes and translates them into coherent task lists


Supervises onsite quality assurance staff


A catch-all for any production tasks that fall through the cracks


 


Requirements:


The title of Associate Producer will be based on level of industry experience and a review of the skill set needed for a particular set of tasks


Minimum of 2 years game development experience or production experience


Experience shipping at least 1 console project, for Xbox 360 and/or PS3, from start to finish


PC and hand-held experience a plus


Passionate about games and game development, familiarity with Call of Duty a must


Proactive and Self Starter with good problem solving skills


Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong multi-tasking responsibilities


Strong working knowledge of Excel, MS Word and other project management programs


Familiarity with Max and Photoshop a plus
