Wargaming America is looking for an experienced Producer/Product Manager to develop the concepts and marketing position for World of Warships. This is a great opportunity to work on a flagship product in one of the fastest growing video game companies in the world. You will own the product lifecycle including initially defining, understanding and tailoring our efforts to our target audience. You will work with our international and local teams and departments to create roadmaps for MMO product development for satellite products. You will also partner with our development teams on reviewing new features and be the voice of our local audience. Finally you’ll develop and drive benchmarks to evaluate our success. This job will evolve and expand over time as the company grows.

This position will report to the Senior Producer and is located in Emeryville, CA

In order to do all of this you’ll need to have these skills under your belt:

A thorough understanding of online gaming, the free-to-play MOBA market, game production methodology, pipelines and technical requirements. Must have shipped at least one AAA product!
Contribution to a successfully produced game on either a PC or online gaming platform
Ability to work well with your team(s) (international, local, cross-departmental) while also able to get what needs to be done on your own, within deadline and in a fast-paced environment
An excellent understanding of gaming production design, QA and basic office tools (i.e. Microsoft Suite, wireframing tools, project management software)
Great all-around communication skills (i.e. verbal, written, body language) and a second language is a plus
Organization skills to a fault
Interest in working with a variety of markets and cultures
Ability to figure out an answer in the midst of chaos (i.e. troubleshooting)
An inherent passion and urgency for your work
A BSc/BA or MBA
A thirst for travel

And we won’t dock you if you have:

Intimate knowledge of World of Tanks
Experience in Game Design
An understanding of the competitive gaming scene as relates to World of Tanks
Experience working with task management software (such as Jira, Confluence or basecamp)
Business Intelligence/Analyst/Product Management experience
Proficiency in Russian
