Manage the end-to-end lifecycle(s) of complex gaming products spanning multiple feature areas. Drive the overall research strategy and usage of core innovative game technology, especially tracking competition. Ensure that product decisions are based on in-depth data analysis through the use of statistical and analytics tools. Take charge of the launch strategy of games, including budgeting, the creation and optimization of the advertising strategy, the improvement of user acquisition tools and processes, and the design and execution of social media strategies to maximize viral distribution. Effectively champion product vision & strategy, manage/monitor product progression through completion of milestones and partner with other product marketing groups for launch. Manage a team, effectively designing project plans based on priorities, set clear/measurable objectives and deploy team resources appropriately to achieve business goals. Write specs, consult, manage design challenges and take lead for promoting interoperability and scale. Interact with the engineering and art teams to ensure vision is properly implemented.
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field followed by 2 years of related experience in job offered or related position (including product management and business analysis position).
Experience must include:
2-4 years managing live or in development mobile or F2P game titles
Internet Marketing: Paid User Marketing (includes copy and creative creation, targeting, bidding, cost-benefit analysis, and process improvement) and Viral User Acquisition (experience with Facebook channels such as app-to-user notifications, newsfeed stories, and other similar channels; understanding of viral marketing tactics and ideation of new ones).
Game Leadership to drive the roadmap and tracking of tasks and provide vision and quality of User Interfaces, Art, and Marketing.
Monetization to maximize revenue utilizing marketing and virtual currency management experience to design features using Excel pivot tables, filtering to create financial models, revenue, costs and cash projections.
Business Processes, Quality Assurance and Leadership skills to lead a team.
Competitive analysis of product and marketing strategies and data related to product launches.
Statistical analytical models using product data and marketing results utilizing tools like Appdata or AppAnnie to identify and track competitors.
