Position summary:
Laser Shot is seeking a motivated professional to fill the role of junior programmer for its headquarters location in Stafford, Texas. This is an entry level position.

This position is ideal for a candidate with a solid foundation in C and C++ programming and wants to grow within a game development environment. Writing solid, stable code with clear documentation along with a team-oriented attitude are the characteristics that will help a candidate excel in this role. In addition, this candidate will assist in software testing and edit / complete testing reports.

Essential Functions:
Programming in C and C++ (2+ years of professional experience)
Strong debugging experience and familiarity with Visual Studio 2008 tools
Perform code reviews
Prepare technical documents for testers
Assist in troubleshooting in a professional manner
Opportunity to travel to install sites both domestic and foreign is a possibility if sought.
Experience with source control, bug tracking and other programming tools (SmartGit, Bugzilla and RedMine)
Familiarity with add-on tools a plus (CodeCollaborator, VM-Ware, Spy++. Remote debugger, etc.)
