Job Descriptiontop
SENIOR PRODUCER
Senior Producers lead creative professionals and projects to success. They manage project priorities, schedule, budget and quality. Senior Producers stay aware of the goals of the studio and assist the General Manager in achieving those goals and identifying risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion while maintaining the creative vision
• Drive entire production cycle of projects based on Scrum principles
• Remain accountable for the on-time and on-budget delivery of all project milestones
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with business partners
• Create project schedules, budgets and status reports
• Coordinate internal and external resources and dependencies
• Promptly remove project impediments and continuously seek higher development efficiencies
• Manage feature changes within project scope and team ability
• Proactively manage risks
• Stay informed of market and technology, and practices necessary to hold creative talent
• Assist in recruitment of team members
• Assist General Manager with overall studio budget and strategy
• Assist in development of product marketing plans
• Manage testing with focus groups
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a games Producer, managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Successful record in developing high quality products
• Experience in Waterfall and Scrum project management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skill at authoring polished product specification documents
• Basic game technology knowledge to assess engineering task complexity and cost
• Ability to provide constructive criticism to production team
• Strong knowledge of game market and ability to identify winning products
• Ability to advocate for end-user
• Undergraduate degree
• Fluency in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
• ScrumMaster certification
• Experience developing games as a Designer, Programmer or Artist
• Fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design programs
• Experience in producing iOS and Android applications
• Experience in developing casual games
• Proficiency with professional game development tools
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Up to 5%.
