Lake Effect Applications is seeking highly motivated Software Engineers/Computer Scientists to help create 3D action games for the mobile device market. Job responsibilities include working with a team to design and implement Object Oriented Software. Basic UML diagramming and strong object oriented design methodology is expected. A game design and development background is preferred.

Requirements:

● B.S. Game Design, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
● Proficiency in C based languages (C#, C++)
● Ability to design and implement object oriented systems
● Working knowledge of polymorphism and inheritance
● Strong organization skills
● Self-motivated, good communication skills, team-player attitude
● Passionate about game design and production

Pluses:

● Unity 3D game development tool experience
● Networking/Multiplayer game experience
● Languages: C#, C++, C, Objective C, Java-script, Java, VB
● Previously worked on one or more PC, console or mobile games as a programmer and/or designer
