Guildhall lecturer schedules follow the academic calendar including fall, winter, spring, and optional summer breaks.
eCenter Faculty: The Guildhall at SMU invites applicants for the position of eCenter faculty to teach in the graduate-level digital game development program in the Production specialization starting in the Spring 2013 semester, module B. Teaching positions are non-tenure track with a one-year (academic year) renewable term and a full-time teaching load. Full benefits accorded to full-time faculty are included.

Position requirements are the following:
•A graduate degree in a related field required
•Knowledge of current best practices in game development
•A passion for developing and playing video games
Preferred position requirements include as many of the following:
•A minimum of five years of meaningful experience in the development of games
•Successfully completed at least 3+ games as a lead
•Project management skills
oAble to create, track and manage software development
oProven experience in managing teams of developers
oFamiliarity with MS Project a plus
oExperience with Agile development a plus
•Knowledge in publishing (business and marketing of gaming); contracts, budgets, P & Ls
•Strong technical writing, editing skills, and database structures
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•Experience teaching at the University level
•Doctorate or terminal degree
