Job Descriptiontop

Run Games, LLC, based in beautiful Los Angeles, CA, is looking for a software engineer to help implement various UI and gameplay elements for an upcoming gridiron football game for the iPhone. The ideal candidate will bring passion, tenacity, and a “do it right” attitude to their work.

Our team is comprised of a small, talented, fun loving group of very experienced developers and as such we are looking for an engineer who not only has the technical skills, but understands the value of teamwork and collaboration that goes into making great games.

We are currently offering a six month contract, but Run Games is growing and would love to bring someone on-board who wants to make the leap from contract to FT hire.

Key Responsibilities:
•UI - Implement and iterate on standard gameplay screens and player progression RPG screens
•Gameplay – Work within an existing engine to implement, tweak, and polish game mechanics
•General debugging and bug fixing

Required Experience:
•Proficiency with Objective C, XCode
•3+ years game development experience, preferably for embedded platforms
•Minimum 1 year iOS game experience, or at least 1 shipped iOS game

Pluses:
•Proficiency with C++
•Cocos2D experience
•CS Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
•Networking experience using UDP
•Ability to optimize using XCode Instruments

Location: Los Angeles (Miracle Mile)
Salary: Negotiable
