Ubisoft Singapore opened its doors on July 2008 and is the 18th Ubisoft internal development studio. Located in the Fusionopolis (Solaris @ One-North), a state-of-the-art Infocomm Technology and Media hub, the studio comprises a core team of Ubisoft veterans as well as a fast growing development team - ranging from recent graduates to industry professionals.

In the short span of four years, the full-fledged development studio has already been involved in the production of some major titles such as Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed 3, Ghost Recon Online, Prince of Persia : the Forgotten Sands and created independently Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network.

With the focus of creating and developing new high-profile AAA game titles, the expansion of the studio is expected to be rapid as it strives towards its goal of becoming 300-people strong in the years to come.

Job Descriptiontop

Responsibilities:

• Delivers work in a single iteration, in accordance with the project's artistic direction
• Efficiently applies graphic principles in his work
• Applies the project engine's lighting and shadowing systems principles
• Applies optimization to his work
• Takes initiatives in order to improve the visual aspect of the game
• Is comfortable with the platform and engine constraints
• Respects real time constraints specific to engine and platform
• Any other ad-hoc duties, if necesssary

Job Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of lighting and atmospheric effects
• Good knowledge of at least one 3D software
• Good knowledge of modeling techniques
• Excellent problem solver at a more complex level
• Understands technical constraints and integrates them in their work
• Good knowledge of real-time SFX shaders
• Experience in working on AAA titles
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Ability to manage their own time and work within deadlines
• Minimum 7 years of related work experience
