WHAT YOU'LL DO:

This group is responsible for the design, development and deployment of massively multiplayer back-end game code. We're looking for Back-End engineers who are capable and excited about developing innovative, scalable and highly available solutions for millions of concurrent users. This team works on all levels of code from database interaction and core business logic up through game functionality.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Requirements:

* Ruby development experience
* Extensive Web application development experience with any of the following: ruby, python, javascript, perl, java or scala
* Accustomed to agile workflow
* Work on-site in San Francisco. This position has no remote work option
Desirable, but not required:

* MySQL experience
* Git
* Open source contributions
* TDD experience
* Javascript experience
* Pair programming experience
* Experience scaling web services
