This tenure track position in a well-funded Digital Media Program, is comprised of both undergraduate and graduate degrees and is located in Johnson City, TN. The region features low cost-of-living, a beautiful four-season climate, and an excellent atmosphere for outdoor activities. We are seeking a colleague with a commitment to teaching and applied research to work in one or more digital media specializations. We are specifically interested in candidates that can demonstrate strong skills across at least two of our three areas of concentration: Animation, Visualization, and Interaction. The position will be available August 2013.

Applicants must hold a terminal degree (MFA/PhD) in Digital Media with skills appropriate to one or more of the Program Areas (Animation/Visualization/Interaction); good aesthetic, conceptual, and technical skills in a variety of digital production software; strong creative work and problem solving abilities; excellent organizational, oral and written skills.

Preference will be given to applicants with an earned Doctoral degree in Digital Media or related field with substantial industry experience in designing, developing and producing digital media, and teaching experience at the post-secondary or graduate level.
