Description of Duties:

-Well-experienced individual contributor that develops, writes and debugs code.
-Has in depth expertise.
-Designs, develops, writes, tests and implements code.
-Writes clear, maintainable, portable code.
-Writes documentation for other programmers' use.
-Anticipates, identifies and articulates problem areas and develops preventative solutions.
-Has a clear vision of how products should function and the ability to lead peers to share this vision.
-Takes responsibility for small management role and leading small R&D tasks.
-Applies professional expertise to review, analyze and test products under development as a contributing member of a production team, to ensure delivery of Nintendo's high standard of quality and timeliness.


Summary of Requirements:

-Receives work in the form of short- and mid-term assignments that sometimes require use of independent judgment that sometimes require the use of independent judgment outside of established procedures.
-Supply supporting information to determine short- and mid-term objectives of assigned unit I team I projects.
-Solves problems that require special knowledge in entry level; good organizational and communication skills. Has talent to come up with creative solutions.
-Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange information related to assigned activities.
-Good understanding of interactive entertainment methodologies and production pipeline; good organizational and communication skills.
-Has worked on shipped console game titles as either a game programmer/graphics programmer.
-Understands overall game engine architecture and the impact to the performance.
-Understands how different elements of game engine interact with each other.
-Have a great sense in game design and ability to fill-in design aspects from engineering end.
-Nintendo console development experience is a plus.
-Experienced in area of specialization.
-Typically has 4 to 6 years of progressively complex related experience.
-Experience working on professional products including shipped software is expected.
-Fast-paced environment with fluctuating production requirements; may be necessary to change specific duties, projects, or schedule on short notice. Weekend and holiday work may be required. Participation in company-wide activities such as product review, analysis and testing as required.
-Computer science related college degree or above is expected.
