Server Programmer - Las Vegas, NV

The Server Programmer will design, develop, and maintain distributed scalable systems. This role involves cloud architecture, relational databases, and NoSQL database systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable avoiding race conditions and solving the problems of thousands of concurrent users. You should be comfortable working with RESTFUL web services.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.
  
• Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.
  
• Monitor web server and site technical performance.
  
• Develop new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.
  
• Maintain and enhance existing Web applications and verify that all internal systems are integrated.
  
• Perform complete testing of Web applications-unit and system.

• Experience writing bi-directional systems, unit tests, functional tests, and php extensions.

Certification, Education and Experience:

Certification:

• Must have or be able to attain a gaming card by the appropriate licensing agency.

Education:

• Bachelors/undergraduate degree in the subject area preferred.

Experience:

• Two to four (2-4) years of progressive experience in assigned or related field; or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
