Job Descriptiontop
Position Summary:
o Responsible for the design and implementation of network servers and systems required in game development
o Specifically includes the following:
1.Efficient system for distribution and management of assets
2.Program auto-build and auto-test systems
Requirements:
o Network programming experience on Unix/Linux or Windows using C/C++/C#/Java
o RDB table design experience
o Ability to do basic performance tuning of RDB (not limited to specific RDB)
o English or Japanese conversational ability (either is sufficient)
Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience developing applications using sockets
o Experience in development and operation of distributed systems
o Programming experience in a functional programming language
o Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.)
o Experience with datastores other than RDB
o Experience with XML DB
o Operational experience with Bugzilla, Trac, or other bug-tracking system
o Operational experience with Subversion, Git, or other version control system
o Operational experience with Jenkins (formerly Hudson) or other continuous integration system
o Experience in network infrastructure design and operation
o Ability to communicate in English
*Japanese language skills are a plus but not required
