This position is responsible for managing the successful launch and delivery of online video game projects. The role requires close interaction with development, engineering, quality assurance, customer support, marketing, and the client/producer. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and be eager to take on a variety of project and balance multiple simultaneous responsibilities.

Strong candidates possess an analytical mind and are able to balance many competing priorities. Additional responsibilities include requirements gathering, risk mitigation, facilitating meetings, client management, and project planning.

A background in Service/Consulting Implementations experience is valuable. Experience in interactive media or online gaming is a plus and highly considered.

Job Responsibilities:

-Must be able to communicate well with teams
-Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches
-Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls.
-Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust

-Must be able to create Project Plans for tracking project, network, systems and application deployment and maintenance work.
-Must be able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects of varying degrees complexity against tight deadlines from inception through completion
-Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management
-Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates via reports
-Hold daily and weekly scrum meetings with internal teams to help guide priority of projects
-Hold weekly client meetings to communicate plans, progress and risk

Qualifications:

-Nice to have would be past experience as a "producer" of an online video game that has launched
-Strong understanding of fundamentals of iterative development
-Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise
-Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
-High value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
-Highly analytical to understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
-Understanding backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
-Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
