Activities/Responsibilities:

Manage a team of programmers whose responsibilities include the design, implementation, and maintenance of development tools, game physics, graphics and hardware systems
Oversee and maintain a comprehensive build system
Work closely with the Lead Programmer, production staff and other team leads to plan and schedule tools and technology features
Monitor performance and memory usage and plan and execute performance and memory optimizations
Mentor new tech team programmers



Requirements:

Experience leading a team of five or more programmers
At least 5 years of game industry experience, with at least 3 years as a lead programmer or higher
Expert C++ coding and systems design experience
Cross-platform experience (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) including knowledge of each platform's strengths and weaknesses
Prior experience with continuous integration systems
At least one, two preferred, shipped multi-platform games
Excellent delegation skills and ability to empower others on the team
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be a self-motivated and energetic team player with a very strong work ethic and cooperative attitude
