Are you the type of individual that is excited by the opportunity to solve large scale, highly complex technical problems? Are you interested in helping to build the next generation of mobile games using cutting edge technology (HTML5, NoSQL, node.js)? We are seeking Software Engineers with a true passion for what they do to join our team. The position is full-time and is located in our London, Ontario studio.

In this role you will help design and build cutting edge games and mobile applications using the latest technologies and platforms. We need you to possess an innate ability to handle complex technical challenges and write scalable and efficient code (one of our databases gets 25,000 queries a second!) We are looking to hire the brightest, most passionate, dedicated and awesome people we can find. If this sounds like you, then you will fit right in.
You have to be versatile, and may be required to do any of the following:
Responsibilities:
•Work on our latest mobile game title and its related engine
•Implement complex web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
•Write massively concurrent server code using node.js and PHP
•Work closely with our product and design teams to define feature specifications
•Help to build and scale back-end services including report interfaces and data feeds.
Qualifications:
•Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
•Able to write robust, efficient and maintainable code
•Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, node.js and both SQL and NoSQL databases
•Understanding of AJAX, Comet, web sockets and client-server development
•Extensive programming experience working with web technologies or game development
•Mobile application development or experience with game projects an asset
•Past experience with Git source control and Agile development methods preferred
•A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
