Pogo is transitioning its world-class intellectual property to re-imagined 3D experiences for iOS and Android tablets. We are looking for a C++/C#/Java game developer with interactive experience ranging from immersive console titles to casual networked progression-style games. This role will work out of Pogo’s Austin, Texas office.

Responsibilities:

Develops game features.
Creates reusable technologies for future games.
Collaborates with local and remote team members.
Monitors performance and optimizes client-side code.
Develops within CPU, memory, size, and bandwidth budgets.
Gathers requirements, design solutions, implements, tests and debugs.
Improves content development workflows for artists and designers.

Required Experience:

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
2+ years C++, C#, Java, and/or Objective-C software development
Experience developing one or more of the following:
Unity3D games
iOS and/or Android apps
3D real-time applications (console games, scientific simulations, etc)
Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Familiarity with client/server architectures
Self-starter who proactively works towards continuous improvement
Delivers on tasks without considerable direction
Ability to adapt and be effective in a highly dynamic environment
Passion for creating fun, casual entertainment
