The Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation and ongoing management of the Business Intelligence for Crytek’s online service based games and platforms as well as for the quality, structure and management of data and information within the business . This individual provides overall management and direction to the BI personnel, and is a key member of the online operations team.

NOTE: This position is both management and technical based and requires someone who can build and run teams but also define software, processes and information flows.

Responsibilities:

Continue to define and build the Business Intelligence function within Crytek
Collaborating with individual products to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of an operational data store and enterprise data warehouse
Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value
Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation
Staying current with industry trends
Advising and educating management on their relative importance and impact

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in BI roles
At least 2 years of experience staff management
Previous experience building a BI function within a business
Proven experience of DW delivery
Work on-site in Frankfurt, Germany among game designers, artists, engineers, quality assurance
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
An ability to instill and reinforce a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic in the entire team
An ability to manage and work with a culturally diverse population
The ability to balance between data needs and requirements for action
Strong management and leadership skills with a proactive participative management style
An ability to work well and productively, always projecting a positive outlook in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Willing to relocate to Frankfurt, Germany
