Description of Duties:

Associate Software Engineer:
-Provides technical support to third party software developers and licensees
-Performs software design and programming
-Provides product support and technical assistance to other NOA departments, licensees, developers and vendors
-Analyzes technical product problems and makes recommendations
-Develops and analyzes product specifications
-Develops documentation
-Coordinates with NCL to resolve technical questions
-Bilingual positions perform written and verbal English and Japanese translations
-Up to 5% travel

Software Engineer:
-Performs software design and programming
-Provides product support and technical assistance to other NOA departments, licensees, developers and vendors
-Analyzes technical product problems and makes recommendations
-Develops and analyzes product specifications
-Develops documentation
-Coordinates with NCL to resolve technical questions
-Bilingual positions perform written and verbal English and Japanese translations
-Up to 5% travel

Senior Software Engineer:
-Performs software design and programming
-Provides technical leadership to other Software Engineers
-Provides product support and technical assistance to other NOA departments, licensees, developers and vendors
-Analyzes technical product problems and makes recommendations
-Develops and analyzes product specifications
-Develops documentation
-Coordinates with NCL to resolve technical questions
-Bilingual positions perform written and verbal English/Japanese translations coordination and communication
-Up to 10% travel


Summary of Requirements

Associate Software Engineer:
-Basic knowledge of design and implementation of 3D graphics software
-Knowledge of software design and programming
-Basic knowledge of various hardware and software development tools
-Knowledge of circuitry may be helpful
-Excellent organizational skills
-Bilingual requires fluent verbal and written Japanese and English skills
-Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Software Engineer:
-One to three years related experience
-Knowledge of design and implementation of 3D graphics and/or network-related software
-Strong knowledge of software design and programming
-Strong knowledge of various hardware and software development tools
-Experience with modern CPU architectures, real-time embedded systems programming, C/C++ and Assembly language
-Technical writing skills
-Knowledge of circuitry may be helpful
-Project management skills
-Excellent organizational skills
-Bilingual requires fluent verbal and written Japanese and English skills
-Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Senior Software Engineer:
-Knowledge of design and implementation of 3D graphics and/or network-related software
-Strong knowledge of software design and programming
-Strong knowledge of various hardware and software development tools
