At Zindagi, the producer leads development through all stages of production, from establishing milestones during pre-production to putting the finishing touches on final build submissions. Energy, self-direction and follow-up skills are a must, as well as the ability to anticipate production issues and solve them before they become problems. The producer has the ability to interact with and understand programmers, artists, designers, QA, and has enough experience and maturity to say no, fight for his/her position, and maintain team chemistry. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in game development and has a thorough knowledge of how disciplines work together. He or she also needs a proven track record of finishing quality games that satisfy the project’s long term and short term objectives. Most importantly, the producer is the main advocate and biggest fan of the game and is always thinking about how it will present itself to its target demographics. This inspires and excites the team and they follow the producer’s enthusiasm and passion.


Responsibilities:
• Biggest advocate of the game and evangelizes this to the company
• Is responsible for leading an entire game development effort from beginning to end
• Oversees and coordinates daily development tasks, scheduling, and manages the activities of personnel and production staff.
• Establishes and maintains direction to ensure deliverables are on-time, and that all milestones meet defined goals and quality bar.
• Is a leader, and accomplishes all of the above while maintaining the chemistry and family feeling of working at Zindagi.
