** This is a CONTRACT position


Description of Duties:
-Work with art and engineering teams to construct game UI in Flash/Scaleform
-Use ActionScript 3.0 to script UI behaviors
-Use Flash timeline to create UI animations
-Create 3D interface layouts in Maya
-Use proprietary world builder to script 3D interface behaviors
-Work closely with the lead designer and constantly communicate with other team members across all disciplines

Required:
-1-3 years experience in the games industry
-Proficiency with ActionScript 3.0
-Proficiency with Adobe Flash Professional CS5
-Proficiency with Autodesk Maya 2012 or other 3D modeling tools
-Game scripting experience using a world building tool such as UnrealEd, Source, etc.
-At least one full product cycle as a designer in the industry
-Familiarity with a majority of the successful game products and platforms over the last ten years
-Excellent organizational skills; strong experience with PCs
-Ability to learn and use various software applications
-Solid understanding of the software engineering process
-Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to learn

Preferred:
-Undergraduate degree in Video Game Design, Computer Science, Marketing, Entertainment or a form of technical training
-Working knowledge of industry standard software
