Job Descriptiontop

This is an incredibly visible and creative position within a dynamic company which has won almost every outdoor advertising award that there is. To continue this level of execution, we need a project manager who is well versed in Agile development and C++ to lead an incredibly talented team of programmers, both here and overseas.

Furthermore, we'd like this person to support our sales efforts by interacting directly with clients to explain our technical capabilities in a way that's easily understandable.

Lastly, it would be a huge plus if this person is be able to think creatively to come up with concepts for new projects and have the vision to deliver an amazing, polished user experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of stable software applications in a mission critical environment.

Provide day-to-day project leadership and decision making on multiple high-visibility projects especially pertaining to iteration scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Includes planning and manage multiple concurrent projects from initial concept, through requirement gathering, design, coding, testing and release.

Communicate iteration status and issues to the CEO.

Work with the sales team to provide accurate information, time-lines, and feasibility regarding project pitches.

Manage the planning and control of project activities and resources.

Effectively share knowledge, deliverables, and lessons learned with colleagues across the organization.

Work with IT/AV teams to coordinate project needs and scope of work.

Coordinate projects within 30-day, iterative development cycles (Sprints).

Act as a liaison between customers and the software development team to address customer support issues.

Manage client expectations and deliverables.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience on multimedia software development processes

Software design background is a must

Strong understanding of C++ on windows based systems

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile implementation methodologies

Experience managing projects that are complex in nature and involve multiple integration points in an iterative, rapid application development environment

Ability to work effectively in a global team distributed across geographic locations while showing strong leadership skills

Sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information

Open and effective communication

Must be able to manage one or more projects concurrently

Strong analytical and design skills and excellent problem solving ability

Strong organizational skills and ability to switch rapidly between different projects and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced and exciting environment

Knowledge of object oriented design methodology and design patterns

Ability to demonstrate an adaptive style that is flexible and effective in gaining cooperation of others so as to maintain effective relationships across the organization

Ability to develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource maps

Experienced working in a SCRUM, Agile, Waterfall and/or PMBOK framework.

Understanding of SVN (VERSIONING)

Understanding of how to work with API's and SDK's

Understanding of Computer Vision a plus

Design background a plus

ScrumMaster Certification a plus

PMP Certification a plus

Experience working on RFPs a plus

Experience with OpenFrameworks and Processing is a plus

Understanding of interactive design specifically within advertising and creative design houses a big plus
