Kabam is becoming a serious force in game publishing and we’re looking for engineers to significantly contribute to that effort.

The Kabam.com site and publishing playform is one of the main factors for Kabam’s success and we need amazing engineers who can work with a dynamic team of artists, product, marketing, analyists and, of course, other engineers.Kabam.com is a very visible property, both externally and internally, and will only become more important as we expand our publishing business. It’s not just games at Kabam, our site and publishing are crucial to our long term success.

As an engineering team we run lean and fast. Our engineers are expected to take part in our culture that expects responsibility and rewards creativity and initiative. You’ll be able to take ownership and contribute to product spec and design in meaningful ways, not just in the implementation. We work as a team based on intelligence, respect and collaboration. No cowboys.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

* Smart people with experience building modern client facing web properties
* 3+ years experience with HTML, CSS, JS. You need to know how to write great CSS, how to put together a page correctly and write solid, clean JS.
* 3+ years experience with any modern programming language (Ruby, Django, Java, PHP, Scala, etc.). Ruby would be best but if not we’ll train you.
* Experience with a modern web or MVC framework. Rails preferred but other certainly considered.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
* Experience with high-traffic, production systems.
* BA/BS preferred.
