Responsibilities

• Lead Tech QA team to drive automated build technology, test automation, and QA tools for use by QA
and development teams
• Work with QA, Core Technology Group, and project development staff to:

o Enhance existing continuous integration systems at Volition
o Improve the coverage and flexibility of our automated testing frameworks
o Support existing testing tools
o Create new tools for testing
o Work with studio and development staff to craft a forward looking vision for build and test automation at Volition
o Work directly with Tech QA team members to maintain the existing code bases, technology, and directly contribute to the development of new automated build and test technology

Requirements

• Extensive C programming knowledge
• Extensive Python programming knowledge
• Demonstrated experience at developing automated build and test systems
• Experience leading a development team in developing automated build and test frameworks and tools

Pluses

• Additional programming languages
• Experience developing gui based tools for testing
• Game development or game quality assurance experience
• Experience using the CruiseControl continuous integration tool
• Experience developing for backend database technology
