Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an experienced engine programmer to focus on core engine development for our next generation MMO. This position primarily involves working with designers, game programmers, and fellow engine programmers to develop, and refine key engine systems that contribute to the creation of Blizzard Entertainment's next industry-changing game experience.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years’ game coding experience on at least two shipped titles
A minimum of 3 years’ experience writing efficient core engine code (directly to hardware, or hardware APIs, not through 3rd party APIs)
Strong math skills (linear algebra, trigonometry, etc.)
Fluent in C / C++
Experience with code, and data optimization to improve both memory consumption and performance
Passion for playing video games, and writing engine code

Pluses]

Computer science, mathematics, physics, or related degree
Experience with multi-threaded programming
Experience working on networked games
Animation system, and / or scene partition experience
