BIG PICTURE JAVA GUI / HCI PROGRAMMER needed to join a leading-edge modeling and simulation software development team. BS required with major/minor or minor/major in Computer Science/Physical Science. Must be experienced with Swing programming, layout managers, design patterns (especially MVC) and Human/Computer Interface design. The ideal candidate will integrate smoothly into a mature, rapid-software-development team while contributing a unique, top-level skill set. Principal responsibilities will be Swing programming on a NetBeans RCP application and interface design for industry-leading top-shelf software products. This is both a detail-oriented and a big-picture role. JOGL programming experience or Project Management experience a plus.

Experience Requiredtop

BS with major/minor or minor/major in Computer Science/Physical Science. 2+ years experience developing and designing interfaces for Java desktop applications. Java/Swing, HCI design experience required.

Other: DoD or DoE clearance or ability to obtain one. Must be able to successfully pass required background checks. U.S. citizenship required.
