As an Experienced (Content) Tools Programmer at Bungie, you’ll build software for our artists, designers, testers and engineers that they’ll in turn use to make awesome games. As the tools evangelist, you will work with just about every warm body in the studio to make their lives that much better by streamlining workflow. From forging level editors to subduing data formats, this position involves an incredible breadth of technology and features access to almost unheard of areas of software development.

Required Skills
-Black Belt in C# and .NET
-Experience writing solid, maintainable C/C++ code
-Strong architectural skills and experience building and maintaining monumental codebases, tools and systems
-Persuasive cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration skills
-Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
-Solid personal time-management skills and ability to work in an open environment with regular interruptions for customer service needs
-Passion for great games, great technology and Tools development
-Experience with user interface development
-Enthusiastic about working with designers and artists
-Understanding of algorithms, performance and optimization
-Smart, driven and highly adaptable
-Aptitude and appetite for pulling systems apart
-Ability to mentor and be mentored

Nice-to-Have Skills
-Experience working with modern console architecture
-Ability to lead, mentor and/or manage a small team of engineers
-Development experience with 3DStudio Max and/or May
-Previous game development experience
-Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience
