Job Descriptiontop
Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Associate Producer. This position will support a product development team to create on time, on budget, target quality external software products. It will be responsible to manage team deliverables, provide expert knowledge to increase the game’s quality, and learn all phases of the software development cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Assists Producer to achieve all project goals during the game’s product development cycle (from concept to code release, including foreign translations and ports)
• With minimal supervision, manages external developer in the adherence of milestone schedules and deliverables, respecting the current budget and quality targets of the game
• Ensures the target quality by reviewing competitive product, evaluating design/technical/art documents, and creating quality tracking documents
• Communicates with the developer and internal departments including Marketing, QA, Operations, Customer Service, Localization, Legal and Ubi.com
• Manages time efficiently by task prioritization, resource coordination, risk assessment and proactive problem solving
• Learns new production, design and communication techniques from other team members
• Applies leadership when possible to solve key performance issues and increase efficiency
• Travels to developers or licensors when required
• Assists in any other assignments as directed by manager
• Reports to a Producer
