Responsibilities include:

* Design and code new features and enhancements across all our product offerings
* Participate in all aspects of a project life-cycle, from specifications through QA
* Collaborate on finding and fixing bugs and scalability/optimization issues
* Help automate, maintain and enhance our payment system that serves the needs for all our games


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate is a rock star engineer who will work closely with game designers to build out and improve the platform services in Java, PHP and MySQL. You lead by example and would be able to hit the ground running with a team of smart and capable back-end developers. Bonus points to those who are obsessed with developing clean, stable, well tested code, and continually look to improve the code quality of the entire team.

We'd like to see:

* Previous experience developing payment systems (nice but not necessary)
* Strong programming skills in Java and PHP
* Strong MySQL and database design skills
* B.S. in Computer Science or related field
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Driven and self-motivated, a self-starter who can work without supervision
* Strong familiarity with Web 2.0 / Social Networking websites
* Experience with Agile/SCRUM development practices a plus
* While we are open to candidates of all levels, mid-to-senior is strongly preferred
