Summary:
WB Games Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to help us expand the Mortal Kombat franchise. Work in a dynamic team environment where you will be responsible for implementation of game play features, interface tools for content designers and help to support and expand the game engine. You will work closely with game designers, animators, artists, programmers and production staff to take this AAA product from concept to the store shelf.
Job Responsibilities:
Software team and project management.
Game project evaluation and optimization.
Create tools and interfaces which allow artists and designers to create and work with game content.
Game engine and systems design and architecture.
Evaluate and optimize content pipeline.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of console game development in C++ and a software lead on at least one shipped major title.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification:
B.S. in computer science, computer engineering or other relevant field.
Knowledge/Skills:
Software lead on at least one major shipped title.
Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
Excellent debugging skills.
Experience working with major game consoles.
Familiarity with Unreal engine 3 a plus.
