Relic Entertainment, award winning developers of Homeworld, Dawn of War and the highest rated RTS of all time, Company of Heroes, is looking for Development Testers to join our team.
As a Development Tester, you are responsible for running and creating test cases/test suites, performing regression testing, verifying claimed bug fixes and entering data into bug and project goal tracking systems. Both verbal and written communication, along with interpersonal skills, is crucial! At Relic, we are big on teamwork. And the Dev Testers play a vital role.
While we are a professional bunch, we have a ridiculously good time making quality games of which we are all proud. Seriously, we take making fun games very, very seriously.
* Identify software defects, run test suites, verify fixes * Enter bugs into Bug Tracking System * Verification and tracking of development goals * Creation of test cases and test suites
Requirements:
* Intermediate to advanced software troubleshooting skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and analyze software defects * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to remain focused until project completion * Tester on at least 1 - 4 released software products * Minimum 6 months video games testing experience (1 year plus preferred) * Console testing experience required * High School diploma
Assets:
* Game industry experience * Experience and understanding of PC game testing * Software development experience * Familiarity with Agile and Scrum Project Management Theory * Bachelors Degree or equivalent
