Who We Are Telltale is a new breed of interactive entertainment company that is ideally positioned to capture a significant share of the fastest-growing market segment in the game industry. The company was founded in 2004 by three game development veterans, each with over a decade of leadership experience in the entertainment, game, and online industries. The founders' experience culminated at LucasArts Entertainment Company (LEC), developer of Star Wars and Indiana Jones games, as well as seven of the all-time top 20 games in the adventure genre.
Our Goals Telltale is poised to become the interactive equivalent of a broadcast television channel. We have already begun to accomplish this by creating, developing, and publishing multiple video game series based upon popular stories and characters. The company's goal is to be the leader in interactive episodic storytelling.
Telltale Games is searching for an individual to manage build and distribution systems for episodic games on platforms including PC, Mac, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 with PSP and iPhone. This full-time position provides all build support and management to the studio. A qualified applicant should be able to develop build processes which provide the studio with game builds for QA and release. The position also provides support for finishing process support on each platform including installers, executable signing, and final submission processes.
Responsibilities
Design and build tools to assist in the automation of builds.
Producing builds for QA and public distribution.
Tracking and archiving of builds.
Creation of distributable builds and end-user presentation (installers, console finishing protocols, etc).
Surveying and notification of console development changes in support for the engineering team.
Design and implement tools to support QA for console titles.
Essential Skills and Experience
Knowledge and background in build management and distribution.
Able to demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills to ensure efficient management of tasks.
Proven experience and proficiency with high level scripting languages (examples: Java Script, LUA, Python, Perl, NSIS).
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with proprietary game scripting systems, especially Lua.
Experience with Visual Studio and Source Safe.
Familiar with C/C++.
Previous build experience in any of the following platforms:Windows, Mac OS X, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PS3, PSP, iPhone
