This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner WorkforceLogic.
NOTE: THE DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT CAN NOT EXCEED 12 MONTHS!!
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and support all technical aspects of the production within Maya for the duration of the project. Work with the Animation Supervisor, Pipeline team and Character Technical Director team to implement, develop and support the scene pipeline from scene creation to delivery. Support of character rigs and toolsets. Create tools and techniques to help refine, automate and simplify the Maya pipeline, as instructed by the Character Technical Director Supervisor. Write MEL scripts to troubleshoot and automate the process. Work with the MotionBuilder team to develop and maintain animation transfer solutions.

Must be willing to work within the current facility pipeline Must have strong communication skills and work well with all members of the project Must be able to discuss all aspects of the production with the respective discipline Must be able to understand any problems that arise, communicate solutions to the problems with the Character TD Supervisor, and work with the entire team to execute the solutions Expertise in Maya is required At least 2 years of post high school training or equivalent
