Responsibilities: * Evaluate and initiate processes and features pertaining to title/franchise specific level design * Create “level briefs” and create direction documents for each level * Work with system designers to ensure coordination between system design and implementation within the levels * Direct and manage a group of level designers working on creating levels by providing feedback regarding difficulty, clarity, pacing and general entertainment value of levels * Collaborate with artists on level design process and visual direction
Requirements: * Proficiency with creating rough level mesh in Maya * Ability to script game-play scenarios in proprietary scripting environment * Solid understanding of game art and processes to help in the development of workflow schedules and prioritization
This is a full-time regular position in Redwood City, California. Local Candidate preferred
