Job Description:
The Public Relations Specialist will support all aspects of Public Relations for Bigpoint in the US and will manage individual Bigpoint games, providing publicity support for the assigned product. The incumbent will write press materials, conducting press tours, create and execute PR plans as well as report directly to the Head of PR on a regular basis.

* Execute the executive game publicity strategy through pre-launch, launch and post-launch phases
* Oversee qualification package production (RFP, RFQ, RFI); coordinate interviews and preparation of presentations and serve as a point-ofcontact for all requests for materials; work collaboratively with firm leadership to write customized content
* Organize conference participation, association involvement and speaking/?thought leadership opportunities
* Maintain and manage the editorial calendars for article contribution and establishes relationships with key media representatives
* Manage social media initiatives – LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, social bookmarking sites, etc.
* Ensure that all communication materials are on-brand, on-message, and
on-strategy
* Develop and maintain strong media relationships
* Research and integrate gaming industry news, trends and compelling angles into PR

* Minimum 3 years of documented experience working in a PR role, either
in a PR agency or in a company

* Good knowledge of and experience in media relations in the gaming industry
* BA in Journalism, Public Relations or related field

* Adept at Public Relations in the online gaming industry
* Proven track record of generating publicity with strong contacts with local and national media

* Ability to identify and capitalize on public relations opportunities which
are both strategic and cost effective
* Ability to handle multiple projects and solidly meet deadlines
* Must have superior writing and media-relations skills
* Must be willing to work additional hours as necessary, willing to travel
* Enthusiasm for games and the gaming industry
* Foreign language skills are a big plus -especially German
