Job Description:
Basic Function
• Contributing to all aspects of sound design, implementation, post-production, and audio engineering.

Position Responsibilities
• Interactive designs for sound, dialog, and music
• Sound effect editorial and design
• Dialog editorial and processing
• Mastering and multi-channel mixing
• Sound, dialog, and music implementation
• Foley, field, and studio recording as needed

• Studio Directors
• Studio Audio Director
• Sledgehammer development team
• External contractors


Qualifications

Education
• College degree required
• Continuing Education Certificate, Professional or advanced degree in audio engineering, music, or similar

Experience
• Demonstrated creative and technical achievements in sound design
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in game development
• Minimum 2 - 3 AAA titles shipped with sound designer credit
• Fluency in game audio implementation using tools such as FMOD Designer and Audiokinetic Wwise
• Understanding of PS3, X360, and Wii audio functionality and capabilities
• Fluency with Pro Tools and other major digital audio workstations
• Practical experience in mastering, multi-channel mixing, foley and field recording
• Solid base of technical audio theory and audio engineering

Other
• Professional experience in other entertainment media including film, TV, music, or new media
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Working knowledge of game audio scripting and programming
• Exceptional organization skills
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
