The ideal candidate is a software engineer with an understanding and passion for game UI development. The candidate should have a solid background in good engineering practices. Good communication skills across disciplines are important for the candidate to succeed in our dynamic development environment.
Responsibilities:
* Work with an Agile sprint team to define, estimate, and implement UI for the game * Write, document and test code to implement the technical and game design * Work with design and art teams to write code that implements their creative direction * Review and critique code design and implementation from other programmers * Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the software development process
Qualifications:
* 2 year degree in computer science or equivalent * Up to 2 years experience programming games * Strong C# experience * Knowledge of XML and other file formats * Experience with the tools typically needed to develop a game project * Experience with Game UI systems * Passion for making and playing innovative games
Pluses:
* Familiarity with the Unity engine and toolset * Previous experience working with branded IP * Experience with Agile development processes * Experience with client – server development
