We are seeking an experienced Senior Environment Artist to take charge of the environment creation pipeline.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading in the design, execution, and maintenance of a large-scale production pipeline . The candidate must also have strong knowledge of the most current art technologies and techniques.
The Senior Envrionment Artist will work closely with the producer, the level designers, the concept artist, and art team to lead the creation of assets and levels. The Senior Environment Artist will be responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient production pipeline, and will be asked to identify and solve any obstacles along the way.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years professional experience
- At least 2 shipped titles for major console platforms
- A portfolio that demonstrates excellent concept, modeling and texturing and lighting skills
- Mastery of 3ds Max, Photoshop and ZBrush
- Experience creating all aspects of a 3D game environment including terrain, hard and soft surfaces, etc...
- Thorough understanding of lighting and rendering techniques and technologies
- Unwrapping and texturing(photoreal and hand painted)
- Experience working with in-game physics and collisions
- Self motivated work ethic
- Genuine enthusiasm and Knowledgeable interest in video games
