SGN is seeking exceptional talent to bring onto the team and continue the long tradition of visually stunning and award winning titles. We are looking for game producers who understand that there are incredible opportunities in the social space to combine what we have learned about console, PC, casual gaming and social networks to create experiences in a way that truly original.
We run small core teams with significant autonomy to create excellent games in short time frames. We are looking for new team members who have a philosophy of supporting all discipline in a collaborative way.
At SGN there are clear roles, responsibilities and authority, but buy-in and collaboration are core values. The producer’s job is to facilitate and remove barriers to success for the team and to communicate the game team goals and successes to the management. The producer is also responsible for keeping the bigger picture concerning corporate goals for the game team.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of production experience. • Insatiable curiosity • Passion for results • An understanding of social gaming • Modesty in realizing no one really understands it yet. • Passion for critical analysis • Desire to work collaboratively in small teams and leading by example. • Ability to create and maintain product backlogs. • An understanding that in the online world, the game is never finished. • An understanding that good producing isn’t doing the impossible, but defining clearly what is possible.
