Blind Wink Games is a brand new game development studio formed in partnership with Universal Pictures. Our primary focus is the business of empowering people to fulfill their fantasies and to experience indelible moments in the virtual worlds we create.
We are looking for talented and motivated individuals who are highly proficient with Maya, Z-Brush, and Unreal Engine 3 game development. You will be focused on creating ultra high quality assets for cinematics, as well as creating high quality 3D environments and/or characters for use in the Unreal 3 Engine. You must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and manage multiple responsibilities on a small team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to produce 3D assets that are exact reproductions of the concept art while adhering to the limitations of the Unreal 3 Engine.
Create ultra-high quality environments using ZBrush and Maya for cinematic movies; and be able to convert/optimize those assets for use in the Unreal 3 Engine.
Create ultra-high quality characters and gear using ZBrush and Maya for cinematic movies; and be able to convert/optimize those character assets for use in the Unreal 3 Engine.
Skin/Weight and rig environmental and/or character assets for the animators.
Implement gameplay mechanic and logic using Kismet.
Provide innovation and resolution to art problems and challenges for all phases of production.
Assist the Art Director in creating and maintaining the art asset pipeline.
Follow the directions of, and provide feedback for improvement to, the Art and Creative Directors.
Be Proactive in mentoring others in best practices.
Meet project deadlines and milestones set by project Leads and Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High level of expertise with Maya, ZBrush, and Unreal 3 Editor
B.S. in Game, Entertainment, Industrial, or Environment Design and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
Expert knowledge of Photoshop and other tools use to make stunning textures/materials/shaders.
Must demonstrate ability through portfolio samples.
Must have shipped at least one current generation console or PC title in the last 2 years.
Must have passion for art, an analytical mind, a proactive work ethic, and above all, a professional demeanor.
Must be U.S. resident or have a valid work visa.
