Harmonix is seeking an experienced Senior Producer for a large, internally-developed project.

We are looking for a creative, flexible, and resourceful project driver who will understand the vision for the game and distill it into a sensible, prioritized schedule, ensuring both title quality and timely delivery.

The Senior Producer will work across disciplines to set priorities for the team, track the scheduling of the project, identify critical restraints, potential bottlenecks and risks in the delivery schedule, and troubleshoot communication and dependency problems.

This position requires a passion for Harmonix’s genre-changing style of music and rhythm games.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Develop effective staffing plans and project schedules, both internally and with external partners
  
  
• Manage the execution of the game development process by identifying and resolving conflicts between schedule, budget, and design goals
  
  
• Recommend and implement new processes where efficiencies are needed to improve on-time or on-budget delivery
  
  
• Foster and promote healthy cross-discipline communication
  
  
• Manage, mentor, and inspire the production management team
  

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in the production of AAA console, PC, or online titles
  
  
• Minimum of 3 shipped titles
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage, schedule and track the progress of large development teams and complex projects
  
  
• Proven knowledge of all aspects of multimedia/game production (graphics, design, programming, audio/video, QA, and localization)
  
  
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly waterfall and agile/scrum development
  
  
• Ability to model systems and reports using Excel, Project, Visio and other project management tools
  
  
• Ability to manage and resolve conflict in an open, professional manner
  
  
• Experience managing, mitigating and resolving risks
  
  
• Strong passion for music and rhythm games
