We have an immediate need for a Technical Systems Analyst in our Austin studio.
Producer TECHNICAL SYSTEMS ANALYST We are looking for a Technical Systems Analyst to help manage the infrastructure for a multi-site scalable web environment. The Technical Systems Analyst will be responsible for evaluating IT systems that comprise the web infrastructure of MMO games. This position will help provide operational cohesion between teams involved with the development and support of large-scale web-based services. Ideal candidates will have strong technical, communication, and organizational skills, and will be able to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment. the Technical Systems Analyst will:
RESPONSBILITIES: • Gather, analyze, and report important operational data to teams at all levels of the organization. • Provide technical feedback and recommendations to various teams. • Develop, manage, and document web infrastructure related IT procedures. • Document web infrastructure related IT systems. • Provide web infrastructure related IT training. • Act as subject-matter expert on web infrastructure to teams throughout the organization.
REQUIREMENTS: • Undergraduate degree or 3+ years of related IT experience • Experience with IT systems design, implementation, and best practices • Proficiency with standard and advanced IT concepts, practices, and procedures • Experience with web technologies like web services, e-commerce, portals, and online communities • Solid scripting or programming skills • Proficiency in Linux server environment • Proficiency in presentation of technical and business subjects to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call position • Ability to travel up to 6 weeks out of a year • Very strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, meeting management, and conflict resolution • Strong problem solving skills: innovation, collaboration, analysis, inductive reasoning • Strong desire to learn and work with multiple applications, tools and technologies • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and drive to be successful; ability to work independently with minimal supervision or assistance
