Contribute in developing and implementing strategic PR plans for Rockstar Games. Assist in the management of product launches for high-profile next generation console, PC and portable gaming titles. Interact closely with various inter-company departments during the execution of PR plans.
Responsibilities: • Assist in the creation, design and execution of title-specific PR plans consistent with Rockstar’s overall brand strategy and philosophy • Create and write pitches for each state of the PR process • Maintain a detailed press archive • Provide sensible analysis and reports about the reaction to our games at any point • Demo the games to external parties • Solid media relations skills, i.e. actively maintain and further develop relationships will all segments of media, required
Qualifications: • 2+ years of PR experience in the gaming industry preferred, but 3+ years of relevant experience in other entertainment industries welcome as well.
Skills: • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to successfully interact with internal peers (Product Development, Product Management, Sales) and senior management as well as vendors and outside agencies • Thorough understanding and appreciation of games, games industry, youth culture and media is essential • Ability to prioritize assignments in order to anticipate and meet multiple deadlines. • Detail- and results-oriented self-starter with disciplined workflow practices
